Ravenwing and Airforce

The Fast Attack and the lightning attack attack force of the raven wing is rivaled only by the White Scars in their daring and destructive action. This ravenwing battle group is not yet at full strength and needs to be augmented by a few more squads, but the progress towards an apocalypse formation is unmistakeable.

The black knights of the Ravenwing are no idle threat, and everytime they take the field the enemy trembles at the notion of there arrival. There is no enemy that escapes from this foe and thinks that it was an easy day. There most notable actions to date were the the purging of the xenos on the planet Mylos, and a vicious assault on the Tau, surprising and destroying on of they're cherished Riptide battlesuits after a classic outflanking manuver.

Sammael is a peerless leader of the fast attack and lightning raid specialized in by the raven wing. Merciless in his hunt for the traitors of the fallen or in his work in service of battle. While aboard his jetbike, Corvex, there is no foe that the raven sword cant reach. Sammael was last seen in the battle for Mylos were he was responsible for the sole destruction of a of 20 orks, a tide of 15 termaguants, and began to engage a vicious tervigon, before the Dark Angels were forced to redeploy elsewhere. His battle company faced down a massive company of renegrade Guardsmen on the planet Ikenderun lead by the foul traitor of Emmanus Tisklat . During the battle he was only saved from death by his adamantium mantle after a direct hit by a battle cannon, but in the hail of gunfire that followed he was forced to seek the ministrations of the apothecarion and played no further role in the battle.

Recently Sammael has been instrumental in the continuing to hunt down the agents of Chaos in the Gordium Campaign and has led the initial Assault on the planet Ix.  After further victory at Atlas Pass the Ravenwing and Sammael were dealt a severe blow when the Demons of Nurgle incapcitated him at the mouth of the Tunguska Glacier. Huntsmaster Glorfindus has led efforts to send out a search party for him. The campaign is still underway...
