Deathwing of the Dark Angels

Here is a group shot of All the Deathwing I have painted as of 4/20/14. I have one unassembled group. I hope to get enough terminators to field the deathwing redemption force in an apocalypse game someday. So I will still need 3 more groups of Deathwing knights, and possibly some bits to assemble the command squad for belial... cause why not?

Over his long career Belial has served with distinction. Most recently serving to recapture the cogitators containg the names of the fallen, and overseeing the recapture of the cogitators and the purging of Kairos Fateweaver and his puppet Terrigrax. His nemesis seems to be the vile scourge of the galaxy that is the dark eldar, and the mechanical undead of the necrons. He has done yeoman work against the forces of chaos, bringing his sword to bear against many traitorous marines of the iron warriors, duplicitous Tau, and scum of the Ork. Always ready for battle there is no opponent he will not face down with relish.

Venerable Contemptor dreadnaught of the Deathwing, the metallic sarcophogi hold the fighting essence of a former deathwing knight, Janus Arpigeon. While fighting a trygon on the world of Hul-su-Sant, the two foes struck, each mortally wounding the other and saving his battle brothers in so doing. The apothecarion worked quickly and Brother Janus was placed into the contemptor Dreadnaught body. The resulting fusion of machine and man have brought pain and death to the enemies of the Imperium. Brother Janus was last enlisted to scour chaos from the world of Ix during the Gordium Campaign (Hammerfall and World's End).
