Where have I been?

Hey folks for anyone who reads this blog there has been a pretty long radio silence. I am here to break that silence. I have been starting a new job and moving to a new area and it has taken me some time to get to grips with all the changes, Including finding a new 40k group. There appear to be some folks here in town that play and last night I just played a 6000 point game to try out against the new necron codex. Wow it was a doozy. Hoping to get some pics up of what happened.

I've got a laundry list of items that i have been working to get finished.



Batreps
Conclusion of Gordian campaign - apoc batrep.
Conclusion of battle for umbral void - vs necrons, and vs eldar/deldar apoc
Heavy Metal on Mars - 6k batrep with the new group

Terrain
Snow table: With the red martian table working out so well I thought it may be cool to try a snow table.
Painting up some ruins for use at home.


Painting
The remaining green wing and tacticials painted to a good standard.
Some new Demon models thinking about starting a force of these guys.

Hobby related
Creating a new foam tray for some models.
Purchasing a thunderhawk

Running a new campaign! Quest for Goliath

Here is the back story to a new campaign I am running, using narrative and matrix elements for 4-6 people at the game store. Looking forward to seeing how all this plays out.
