Rasputin Forge at Cypra Primus: Tactical assesment

As you can see there several areas of interest that will have to be accounted for in our course of attack. We have made our tactical assessment for your perusal:



Rasputin Forge
The defense and control of the forge itself is of critical importance. It is a complex surrounded by 30 ft high ceramite walls and has been militarized to be defensable by planetary defense forces. The walls serve the dual purpose of keeping out any saboteurs as well as protecting the populace incase of fusion reactor meltdown. Whether the PDF still man their posts is an open question. Within the Forge complex is the refinery, fusion generator, and power control station. The control station is the critical point since it is the area where the the underground assembly systems can be run via automation. Its capture will be of highest priority. 2 VP per turn.

To operate Rasputin Forge at full capacity it will be necessary to route power from nearby Mercurium generators, therefore capture and control of these points will be critical to controlling the Forge itself. 1 VP per generator.

Palace of the Imperial Governor -
Govenor Cervantes has been holed up in the Imperial Palace, having been unable to escape. He is somewhere in the Palace and such is his paranoia that he will order his bodyguard of Cadian veterans to attack any group that approach. He controls knowledge of logic codes to operate the Mechanicus engines of Rasputin Forge. We must find the area of the palace that he is in and secure him.  (move unit into an area of the palace roll D6, if 5+ you have found the Governor and he gets placed on the table for the remainder of the game)  Control of the Governor is 2VP per turn.

Warehouse sector and generator
- The Warehouse and Munitions Depot stores many things for the resupply of planetary defense force as well as the the Astra Militarum. (This ruin has the Ammo Store special rule - Shooting rerolls 1).

Industrial sector and generator.
The industrial sector has long been a place where the Machine God holds sway and tech preists work to earn the blessing of Omnissiah. (This ruin has the Omnissiah's Benediction - reroll failed armor saves from Get's Hot)

It is unclear at this time whether Local Planetary defense force has decided to join with the heretics.
